Privacy Policy — Meta Ads Management Tool

This policy describes the data practices of the internal software tool ("the Tool") that Sidney Sleep uses to manage its own advertising campaigns on Meta's advertising platforms (Facebook and Instagram) via the Meta Marketing API. It applies specifically to the Facebook Developer App associated with this Tool, not to sidneysleep.com generally.

What the Tool Is

The Tool is an internal, server-side application built and operated solely by Sidney Sleep. It is not a consumer-facing product, has no public sign-in, and does not offer "Login with Facebook" or any other end-user authentication. It is used only by Sidney Sleep's own team to create, upload, and manage advertising creative and campaigns on Sidney Sleep's own Meta advertising account.

Information We Access

To operate, the Tool connects to two services using credentials that belong to Sidney Sleep:

• Meta Marketing API — ad account, campaign, ad set, ad, and creative data belonging to Sidney Sleep's own advertising account; aggregated advertising performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions) reported through the Meta Pixel. This data describes advertising performance, not identifiable end users.
• Google Drive API — video and image files stored in Sidney Sleep's own Google Drive, used as source creative assets for ad campaigns.

Information We Do Not Collect

The Tool does not collect, store, or process personal information from Facebook or Instagram users, customers, or website visitors. It has no login flow for third parties, does not use Facebook Login, and does not access individual-level user data from Meta's platforms.

How Information Is Used

Data accessed through the Meta Marketing API and Google Drive API is used exclusively to create and manage Sidney Sleep's own ad campaigns and to report on their performance. It is not used for any other purpose.

Data Storage and Security

API access tokens are stored as environment variables on a private, access-controlled system and are never committed to source control. Creative asset files (video/image) are downloaded temporarily during the upload process and deleted immediately afterward; they are not retained in any long-term database.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share data accessed by the Tool with any third party. Data is transmitted only between Sidney Sleep's systems, Meta's Marketing API, and Google's Drive API, as required to operate the Tool.

Data Retention

Access tokens are retained until revoked or regenerated by Sidney Sleep. No end-user personal data is retained, since none is collected.

Children's Privacy

The Tool is an internal business application and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Tool's functionality changes. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
